TENNIS RULES

  1. The two- (2) tennis courts are available from the first light of day. For night play, the light system can be turned on manually. The "on" button is located on the far side of court #2. The lights shut off automatically at 10:00 P.M.

  2. Members and guests must register at the Golf Shop prior to play. Players must sign their name for the appropriate time and court. Failure to register prior to play means a player has no standing on
the courts. Players may not "sign in" more than one time period in advance.

  3. Playing times are reserved through the Golf Shop in person or by telephone. They will be accepted one week in advance. The reservation sheet is based on half-hour increments. Members are requested to reserve a maximum of two (2) hours of court usage at any one time. If demand is low, additional two-hour periods may be obtained. The league program is not bound by the limited advance registration.
League times will be placed on the reservation sheet as soon as the league divisions are established to ensure court availability.

  4. All players are requested to use good judgment in wearing
complete tennis attire that is in good taste. Tennis shoes and
shirts will be worn while on the courts. (See Dress Code)

  5. The cooperation of all members is needed to maintain proper tennis ethics, fair play and courtesy in a pleasant atmosphere for the enjoyment of everyone. Tennis players must avoid disturbing those living in the condominiums immediately adjacent to the courts.

  6. Guest fees are established by the Board and are posted in the Golf Shop.

  7. The courts are for tennis only. Skateboards, roller skates, and bicycles are not allowed on the courts.

  8. Children under the age of 14 are not allowed to use the court without adult supervision. The admittance of children to the tennis court is strictly regulated to permit optimum enjoyment for adult and junior tennis play. Any children, who demonstrate such a lack of maturity as to create annoyance, hazard, or interruption of play, shall be asked to leave the court area.
