INFORMATION
Memorial Day Weekend to Labor Day
Weekend
- SWIMMING RULES
Adults and/or their guests can use the
pool year-round by request. The basic season
for the pool is Memorial Day through Labor
Day. The pool will be open with a lifeguard
present from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. The
pool will be open daily from 8:00 A.M. to
10:00 A.M. for adults only. During normal
pool hours, the last 15 minutes of each hour
is reserved for adult swimmers. There will
be no lifeguard on duty after 5:00 P.M.
- Adult members or those adult persons in
their immediate household entitled to the
privileges of the Club may, together with
any adult guests, use the pool during club
hours within the prescribed pool season.
Such member or other person in his household
shall be solely responsible for their
conduct and that of any guest while so using
the pool.
- No person under the age of 13 may use the
pool except when accompanied by parents or
an adult. Neither the pool director nor any
lifeguard is expected to act as a babysitter
for the children of members and their
guests, and the parents of any minor child
will be held solely responsible for the
conduct of such child and any guests. The
pool director, as well as any lifeguard on
duty, shall have and be entitled to utilize
at all times, the necessary discretion and
authority to govern and supervise the safety
of all swimmers in the pool. He shall have
the right to remove from the pool any minor
child or other person who, in his judgment,
is endangering his own safety and/or the
safety of others by remaining in the pool.
- All swimmers are required to use the
restrooms and dressing facilities in the
pool area. The men's locker room and ladies'
locker room are for use of adult members and
their guests. Children will use the dressing
rooms adjacent to the pool area.
- The club is not responsible for, and Club
Insurance does not cover members' or guests'
personal property stored in a locker or hung
in a dressing room. This coverage is
generally provided by the member's
homeowner's policy. If you are in doubt
about this insurance, we suggest that you
contact your insurance agent.
- All members and their guests must
register with the Lifeguard before swimming
and present their membership card.
- All swimmers will shower before entering
the pool. Proper bathing attire must be used
in the pool and pool area; however, no one
in bathing suits is allowed in the
clubhouse. Swimmers with long hair must wear
tied back or a bathing cap. No cutoffs will
be permitted. Also babies must wear plastic
underwear, no diapers in the pool.
- No ball throwing, running, tag or rough
games, or personal conduct endangering the
safety of self and others, is permitted in
the pool or pool area.
- The wading pool (little pool) is not for
horseplay, splashing, lumping, or kicking.
It is meant for little children.
- Persons unable to demonstrate to the
pool director or assistants, their ability
to swim, are not permitted in deep water.
Deep-water tests will be given upon request.
- All accidents, no matter how minor, must
be reported to the pool director or
assistants immediately.
- Weights, kickboards, inflatable devices,
swim masks and snorkels are not permitted in
the pool unless specific permission has been
previously secured from the pool director or
lifeguard to allow these objects in the
water. No floats are allowed in the deep end
areas of the pool.
- Persons having any skin disease, sore
or inflamed eyes, cold, nose or ear
discharge, any communicable diseases, or
wearing bandages must not enter the pool.
- No food or beverage, except that served
by the Club, is allowed in the pool
area. China, glasses, or glass containers
are not permitted on the pool deck.
- Guest fees during the week are $2.00. On
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays $3.00. There
will be no charge for children under the age
of 2.
- Private swimming or diving lessons will
be given with the pool director by
appointment only.
- Special activities, (team events,
parties, water ballet, etc.) desired and
supported by members can be planned for and
conducted but must be discussed with the
pool director and Club Manager. All pool
parties, such as birthdays, etc. must be
approved one week in advance by the Club
Manager.
- Lifeguards are trained and certified
and follow safety guidelines set by their
instructors and club rules. Not under any
circumstances are members or their guests to
reprimand any employee of the club. Please
take up any unsettled incident with the
board of directors.
